[ There's a shift in her expression when he finally makes eye contact with her, and god, does her heart melt at the way he looks at her. She really freaking missed him, too--she missed his smile, missed the way he runs his hand through his hair when he's annoyed or frustrated, missed his voice--and while she too was used to the long-distance thing and she missed him when they were apart then, too, you don't quite realize how much the little things like quick chats, random vid messages, and flirty voice mails mean until they're altogether gone all of a sudden, and there's nothing but silence.
