[ Although Peter's figured out by now that the Cap and the Sarge and Falcon are right next door -- kinda hard to miss their comings and goings, after all. Which. Is really friggin' weird, by all accounts. ]
See you soon.
[ Whenever Rogers arrives, he'll find that Peter's left the door to block 17 open. It seems Peter's got the place to himself, for the time being; the dude in question is sprawled out on the couch while "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" plays over the speakers he and Stephanie Brown cobbled together with spare parts from Haven North. ]

He holds the iPod up so it's visible, and then he crosses Quill's living space to hold it out for him.]

He recognizes the device once he takes it. Rosie showed him hers and played some music for him -- mostly ridiculous stuff. "Space Olympics," for instance, is a song that Peter could've done without hearing.
And, man, did everyone get those music players?
Still, he smiles, grateful all the same. ]
Friend of mind had one of those, too. What, were they just givin' these away? Did I miss a sign-up sheet or somethin'?
[ They're of the same mind on that topic, and there's a hint of something that crosses Peter's face at the mention of it. There in an instant, gone in a flash. ]
-- Are you sure? I mean, I'm kind of set on the music front.
I mean-- if you really don't mind. [ Because goddamn, it is tempting. He's been happy with his one mix tape for twenty-something years, and then when he found the second tape? It sort of made him itch for more, though he'd never admit it. ]
I'll, uh. Have it back to you by tomorrow. Day after that, tops.
