[ Peter isn't a terrible dancer. At the very least, he seems to have a sense of rhythm and passable control of his movements – less flailing, more precision – but it's with the carefree attitude of someone who clearly doesn't expect anyone around. Still, it speaks to Peter's character that, even if he was dancing like an idiot, the moment he spots Rosie snickering in the corner, he doesn't immediately stop.
He freezes, sure, eyes wide and owlish like a deer caught in headlights.
A split second later, and he recovers, quirking and eyebrow and, still bobbing in time with the music, he holds out a hand. ]

Since being hidden was part of who she was for a long, long time it's something she's still trying to get used to.
But this is different. There are no eyes besides Peter's to be on her and, well, she doesn't really mind that all too much. It's a subtle testament to the fact that she does trust him... even if she still has her occasional moments. ]
Though that doesn't mean I won't try.
[ With that, the woman does a little shimmy of her shoulders and starts to dance towards him to the beat of the song. She's got a good rhythm going herself thought it's hardly anything fancy. ]
[ For a second, he wonders if he pushed too far, and her initial objection is met with the slightest frown – not one that pulls at the corners of his mouth, but one that shows in the slightest narrowing of his eyes, an apology on the tip of his tongue.
When she moves forward, though, he grins, something boyish and delighted, and he dances alongside her. ]
That's the spirit, Rose.
[ The nature of the music means that it's easy to keep it light, and at some point, he tries to take hold of her hand, grip loose and gentle, to give her a quick spin. ]
replies two weeks late w/starbucks. hands you some.
[ He offers a wink when she spins to face him again, his smile wide and bright. ]
There's more where that came from.
[ But the song begins to fade, and as it does, Peter takes a step back and sweeps into a low bow – something intentionally grandiose and ridiculous in light of the dance they just shared. ]
