[ As good as his word, he teleports nearby (thanks, Porter, for giving him that power) and walks the rest of the way to her store. For once, he's traded in his red leather jacket for a black one. ]
[By the time Peter arrives at her shop, Bela had managed to give herself a quick once over in an antique mirror and fix her make-up, as well as her hair. Not that she really needed of course.]
Hey!
[She calls in from the back of the store before emerging from the stock room, giving Peter a smile in greeting.]
[Her eyes linger on him for a moment then Bela walks to the shop door and turns the sign around, locking the door securely. She turns the lights down and goes behind the counter to retrieve a bottle of scotch and two glasses, setting them on top of the counter.
Opening it, Bela pours them each a measure and slides the glass easily in his direction. Once that is done she picks up her own glass and makes her way back to Peter, leaving a close but comfortable distance between them.]
So, how has life been treating you here? I hope it's been good.
[ He accepts the glass, offering a wry smile as she pours -- as if to say, Really? Scotch behind the counter? But he doesn't complain when she slides the glass his way.
He turns, leaning against the counter sideways to give her his full attention. ]
Can't complain, really. A lot of the same, but, hey, at least nothing's blown up recently. Knock on wood.
I could ask the same of you, though -- everything going alright?
[ Jeff was partially to blame for the scotch being there (she will replace it, honestly) and Bela had rekindled her love for stronger alcohol not long after her arrival in this world. Jeff did know his scotch.
She takes a sip from her glass, listening to his reply. ]
Everything is fine. Business is good, I'm slowly but surely saving up money to put away for the future and yeah, no real complaints either.
[ With that being said, Bela hopes it doesn't curse them and make things not go so smoothly. ]

But I'd also advise you to be careful when you're here as this place can get a little dangerous later on.

Aww, Bela. Are you worried about li'l ol' me? I'm flattered.
no subject
It would be a real shame for something bad to happen to someone so handsome.
no subject
Flatterer.
Don't worry, though -- I can take care of myself. Just name the time and the place, and I'm there.

Failing that, there's always my shop.

[ His voice deepens a bit, takes on a flirtatious edge. ] More intimate that way, don't you think?
no subject
[ There's a smile in her voice, liking the way he spoke. Bela is absolutely on his wavelength. ]
I like the idea of intimate. [ Her tone becomes playful. ] We'll meet in my shop then.

Anyone home?
DEAR LORD THAT PIC /SWOONS
Hey!
[She calls in from the back of the store before emerging from the stock room, giving Peter a smile in greeting.]
That was fast. Good to see you.

I'm not one to keep a gorgeous lady waiting. That'd just be plain rude.
Business any good today?
no subject
Business has been fine.
I can always turn the sign to closed if you want some privacy.

If you're offering to spend some one-on-one time with me, how could I possibly say no?

Any jobs coming up?
