I dislike that the portal pulls children through alone.

[ —well, he doesn't know. Not exactly. But he's at least sympathetic to anyone getting pulled through by their lonesome. He had lucked out (in a manner of speaking) in that he and Gamora had ended up here at more or less the same time.
Honestly, he's not sure what he would have done without at least one familiar face.
(That's not true. He would've adapted, because that's his thing. Rolling with the punches. But he would've been way less happy about it, that's for damn sure.) ]
They obviously don't know how to work that thing.
