[ Chew on that for a second, Peter, because in a moment both of their communicators will be going off with emergency notifications. If they deign to check, they would be reading a general call for imPorts to help with a... blob attack... in downtown Nonah.

Kasumi shoots him a look as their devices go off, as though to ask, should we take that? ]

As he's pocketing the device, he catches Kasumi's look, offering a shrug. After a second of consideration, he pulls out his wallet and leaves cash and a tip on the counter for the drinks. ]

Blobs are new, but at least they aren't zombies or people going insane or zombies, so she smirks at Peter's suggestion. ]

Most people do dinner and dancing on dates. Apparently we do drinks and diverting disasters.

[ she may or may not be forgetting to let go of his hand. conveniently. oddly enough, she remembers that he'd taken her hand in his last time they were at a swear-in together; that, and she's sure a gesture like this means nothing to someone like him. ]

Downtown Nonah's got the worst of it, looks like--also, apparently they eat through anything organic. This should be fun.
